Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb sockeye salmon fillets
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 1 tsp papikra
  • ¼ crushed red pepper or to the taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Dice a red pepper until getting like a paste consistency. Then, transfer it to a bowl. Add the minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, 1/2 of a lemon, honey, dry oregano, paprika and crushed red pepper. Mix it all to get the sauce.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper. After that, marinate the flesh-side of the salmon with the red pepper sauce and reserve some for later.
  • Saute the salmon skin-side down first for about 3 minutes. Then, flip to the flesh-side down for another 6 minutes. Take the skin off carefully and brush the rest of the red pepper sauce you have reserved.
  • After 6 minutes, turn the salmon again and let it on the pan for 2 more minutes.

Notes

*You know the salmon is ready when you have seen the salmon has changed froma translucent red to an opaque pink as it cooks.  If the fish begins to flake and the center of it is slightly pink and moist, it is READY!

First, cut the red pepper and garlic in small pieces. Then, add the rest of the ingredients one by one. That simple!

Preparing your Pan-Seared Salmon

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and 2 tbsp of olive oil
  2. Season your salmon with salt and pepper
  3. Brush one side of salmon generously with the Red Pepper Sauce. Reserve a part for the other side. Note: I keep one side salmon’s skin because, it provides a safety layer between the fish’s flesh and the pan’s heat. Secondly, It is much easier to take that skin off after 3 minutes of sauteing the salmon’s skin side.
  4. Turn the salmon and brush the rest of the red pepper sauce you have reserved. Saute for 6 more minutes.

Este Salmón a la Sartén con Salsa de Pimentón is muy rápido y fácil de hacer. Este está cubierto por una capa de pimentón y ajo picado acompañado por especias que hacen de este la perfecta comida para una noche romántica, reunión familiar o simplemente para disfrutarloen cualquier comida. Además, lo que más te puede encantar de esta receta, es que esta sólo requiere de un sartén.

¡El salmón será siempre la mejor opción! Es toda una comida completa en tan sólo un sartén porque además de su sabor contiene omega3 un ácido graso bueno para la salud del corazón y cerebro. ¡Doblemente bueno!!

El Salmón a la sartén con Salsa de Pimentón se derritirá en tu boca. El sabor de la salsa, agridulce y picante hace de esta receta algo ¡surrealista! Mínimo desorden,🤪muy práctica de hacer y tan sólo necesita de 16 minutos para obtener una increíble cena. puedes servir el salmón con pasta, arroz con verduras o alguna receta que contenga papas.

Ingredientes que necesitarás para hacer la salsa de pimentón

  • 1 pimentón rojo
  • 3 dientes de ajo
  • 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/2 limón
  • 1 cucharadita de miel
  • 1 cucharada de orégano seco
  • 1 cucharada de paprika
  • 1/4 pimienta roja molida
  • pimienta negra al gusto

Como hacer la salsa de pimiento

Primero, pique el pimentón rojo y los dientes de ajo en pequeños pedazos. Luego, añade el resto de los ingredientes uno por uno. ¡Así de simple!

Preparación del Salmón a la Sartén

  1. Calienta el sartén a fuego medio con dos cucharadas de aceite de oliva.
  2. Sasona tu salmón con sal y pimienta
  3. Esparce la salsa de pimiento rojo a un lado del salmón. Reserva una parte para poner al otro lado después. Nota: Yo dejo la piel de un lado del salmón porque así proteje la carne de este del calor del sartén. Segundo, Así es mucho mas fácil de remover la piel del salmón después de dejarlo en el calor por 3 minutos.
  4. Voltea el salmón y coloca el resto de la salsa que reservaste al inicio. Saltea por unos 6 minutos más.
